Stay healthy while travelling

At this time almost everyone around the world is encouraged to avoid travelling and wherever possible avoid public gatherings and events. However, there is the possibility that your job does not allow you to work from home, or in some cases, you are required to travel.

Be it by air, train, bus or car we want you to be as safe as possible and in order to do so please follow the below tips on staying healthy while travelling.

1)Avoid travel when you have a fever and cough.
Please avoid going out unless it is to seek medical attention at a hospital nearby. Do not assume and try to self-medicate. Please ensure a doctor has given you the all clear from the Covid 19 before you make any travel plans. Also note that you are more susceptible to catching the coronavirus if you are already sick so please act responsibly at this time.

2) Avoid close contact with people suffering from a fever and cough.
While you may not feel it is your intention to be rude, especially at this time avoid all contact with people suffering from fever and cough. This is while they may not carry the virus, you becoming ill could make your immune system weak and that is what must be protected.

3) When coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue, the throw tissue away immediately and wash hands
From what researchers have found, the virus seems to be passed by coming in to contact with respiratory droplets. Being a respiratory illness, when a person coughs or sneezes without covering, respiratory droplets are released in to the air via their nose and mouth which can then land on you or a surface your hands could come in to contact with. Once on your hands the virus can then be transmitted to you via your hand touching your face, mouth, nose and eyes.

4) If you become sick while travelling inform crew and seek medical care early.
If you are not feeling well, for your heath and the benefit of those around you, please seek medical attention as quickly as possible. If you are travelling please alert flight crew so that they may take precautionary measure to protect you and all onboard.

5) Eat only well cooked food.
This is not the time to be adventurous and try new delicacies in foreign countries. Only consume well coked food where ever you are. What you consume will provide your immune system the boost needed to fight off any possible infection.

The team at Albaloo hopes you travel safe and ensure your health is of paramount importance at this time.

  1. Does anyone know what happened to Dime Piece LA celebrity streetwear brand? I seem to be unable to proceed to the checkout on Dimepiecela site. I have read in Vanity Fair that the brand was bought out by a UK-based hedge fund for $50 million. I have just bought the No Hate No Fear Tote from Amazon and totally love it xox
