Things to do in KL this weekend

The first full week of 2020 is coming to a close and I’m sure everyone is looking forward to the weekend and but to do that you need to know exactly what is going on in town. Publika is one of the more qwerky malls you will come across, there is art at every turn and even the furniture is like something you would find in a gallery. If you are thinking of grabbing brunch then Publika is the best place to be, drop by Two Sons Bistro or for a mouthwatering burger step in to The Fatboy’s Burger Bar.

Suria KLCC under the Petronas Towers
After taking in the sights of the world reknowned Pertonas Towers, head in to Suriya KLCC and meander along taking in some of the best shopping in the world.

The National Zoo
With over 5137 specimens from 476 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish, you know you have to stop by Zoo Negara. Not only will the kids love this you will too. I just might head there this weekend myself.

Ice Skating
Try your luck at ice skating with the kids (always a great skill to have). Some of the largest malls in KL have ice skating rinks built in as added entertainment for the visitors to the mall ie. Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Putrajaya, and Cheras.

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park
Head over to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park to have you mind blown as you walk in to a world filled with fun and fantasy and watch as your kids (and even your own) childhood dreams come to life. Hit the rides all day and then head over to the water park to cool off and recover after a hard day of having fun.

Hike Bukit Tabur
If you are the adventurous type and want to get some fresh air then how about a hike. Drive out to Bukit Tabur and hike the trails through the lush forests and be rewarded with amazing views and vistas from sunrise to sunset. Be prepared for a challenge as this is no walk in the park.

Pub Crawl at Changkat Bukit Bintang
What better way to celebrate a weekend than by waking up on a Monday morning with epic hazy memories. This one is for the party animal in us – join the pub crawl and visit numerous establishments as you make your way through the city on an epic night out. Not for the faint hearted or the teetotalers.
