Happy Wesak day

Happy Wesak day

Wesak Day is a special occasion celebrated by Buddhists throughout the world, especially in Sri Lanka, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia. Wesak day is celebrated around May by Buddhists which marks three momentous events in Buddha’s life – his birthday, enlightenment, and achievement of Nirvana.
During this festival, devotees bring offerings of flowers, joss sticks and candles. This is to remind them that, just as the flowers wither and die, joss sticks and the candles burn away, so too is life, life is temporary. Albaloo wishes all Buddhists a happy and blessed Wesak Day.
