Miss Rolene Strauss from South Africa was picked as the Miss World 2014 at the pageant’s final event held at Excel ICC Auditorium, London on 14.12.14.

This is the third time South Africa won the pageant, an event held every year to pick the most beautiful woman in the world.

They are selected from the crop of the most beautiful woman of their respective countries and the event is to select the fairest of them all.

This year’s annual event had an extra twist in it compared to previous pageants because it just got more high tech for the spectators waiting gleefully around the globe. Her imposing height combined with her almost crescent shaped smile and perfectly fair complexion has captivated the spectators worldwide watching the event on Sunday. It was a Sunday on 14.12.14 and there were simply more eyes glued on the event. Her looks simply mellowed the hearts of so many that so few can possess. The murdered Miss Honduras was killed by her sister’s boyfriend probably because of jealousy. It will send a message through the global scale against violence, particularly violence against women. What event that would most effectively highlight this crusade against violence, of course it is the Miss World pageant. So she really has brain. By choosing this high profile event at the world stage, she manage to offer a message so effective and powerful that it would go a long way towards reducing violence in the world.
